A writer's demon,
The silent whisperer,
The horrible nightmare of most writers.
It's like you can hear your own voice
Whispering to you;

Telling you you are not good enough
Like, seeing your own reflection
Silently laughing at your every mistakes.
Like slipping into a dark hole
With no where to escape.
Of course, there's a way out!
You can either fight it
Or let it consume you.
You can either find your own light
Or slowly slip into depression.

A writer's demon,
A writer's greatest nemesis,
It could lead to a writer's downfall
Or help a writer build himself
By channeling all the bad energy into art
And letting that be his light.

You are more than what your demon whispers to you
You are greater than all those criticism
That you let yourself absorb
You can be more than just a person with ideas to write down.

You are a writer.

You can make it
As long as you try.
