Dear Petal,

        I know we lasted only 16 days, but it felt like 16 months to me. You never ceased to shower me with love, care, gifts and encomiums. You were always there for me: my Bible man, my hype man, my perfect gentleman and my heart beat. If love could be written on anyone's forehead to show they were real, it would be tattooed all over your body. I honestly don't know what kind of letter to call this. A love letter? Maybe not. I wanted to write you a love letter on your birthday to show how much I really loved you, but I'm sorry it had to end this way. 

          I don't deserve to look into your eyes or even see you. I deserve to be stoned for everything I caused you. And I'm deeply sorry. Can you forgive me? Can you at least be merciful? Truly, I wanted us to last longer, but..... I guess nature and destiny had other plans. You don't deserve any heartbreaks. You are so good to be true. I hope your family members forgive me. This hurts. It really hurts. I don't know what else to say. My tears have replaced the ink of my pen. Thank you for all you did. I wish you the best.
