She is black and bold;

Her skin shines just like gold.

She is so rich in melanin 

And so confident in her skin,

Her confidence is so immense,

Being in her presence is intense 

When she steps in with her full nappy hair 

Everyone stops to the stare,

They can feel her confidence in the air 

When she speaks, they all listen 

She carries herself with such poise 

She’s a queen, she’s a goddess.
