Oh, it's back!

That familiar yet unfamiliar feeling

that emptiness in my chest that makes me feel incomplete.

That thing that makes me feel like there's a hole in my heart.

I woke up again, feeling empty.

I don't know what it is but I sure don't feel it when I'm with you.

It's weighs upon me like some kind of heavy weight

Makes me so uncomfortable that I can't sleep at night

Keeps me awake and panting till the very crack of dawn

Yet I still don't know what makes me feel this way

The reason for this feeling remains.... intangible.

Oh, it makes me so tired

It draws and saps my energy like an imaginary succubus

Turns my gifts into a curse but is this curse really a gift?

Questions, questions, so many questions

Unanswered questions that keep me asking for days

When will this thing ever go away?

Will this ugly sensation ever leave me alone?

But the biggest enquiry that sits upon my chest remains....

Who or what will fill this hole in my heart?
