You never fail to disappoint

I found solace in bright appoints

One minute, cheers and smiles and laughs

Before I blink, you kill the laughs

You drown them out with solemn crimes

You paint my mood with gloom and grime

Until I feel my brightness slide

Replaced by dullness, side by side

The reconnections, all are ruined

Through careless acts, all efforts ruined

I wonder if I reach to high

To touch those things I shouldn't try

Concede to things I should ignore

Assailed by feelings like it's gore

Accept the fate that lies ahead

I'll stay detached and forge ahead

For what I know remains a point

You never fail to disappoint.
