Yesterday's newspaper

And a pizza box;

Unwashed t-shirts

And scattered socks;

The laptop's charger

Gone astray;

A half-packed suitcase

Blocks the way;

The window plant

Feels all alone;

As I hunt under blanket

For my mobile phone.
